Aglio e olio con pollo - Garlic and oil with chicken.
One of my favorite spaghetti sauce after the creamy ones of course. I call this the "light" one because it won't make you
that full compared to "heavier" ones like bolognese or carbonara sauces. ^^
And and.. the fact that it is super easy to do! Each time, I am bored and itching for something easy/fast to do, I go for the aglio olio!
So I made this from scratch. Using olive oil, chicken broth, chilli and
parsley! And of course chicken. I must add the chicken! I can't live as a vegetarian, that much is assured!
The other one.
I used my macro lens.
Firstly, I LOVE how you managed to capture the fresh explosion of colours! This picture makes me feel hungry for it, even though I immensely dislike chilli in my pasta.
Composition wise: Very pleasant background blur, and very smart use of a utensil to psychologically entice the viewer to feel hungry looking at it- it makes the viewer WANT to reach out into the screen and grab that fork and shove it into his/her mouth! Crop is well placed and diverts the viewer's eyes to the main focus point- which is the pasta.
lighting: no issues with this one, because all the shadows are appropriately highlighted and there are no over or underexposed areas in the photo.
overall, a fantastic piece, where there isn't anything i would have done differently. you nailed it!
Thanks smelleh!
